 Collections Katherine V. W. Palmer Collection

  Series 1: Correspondence, 1919–1989, 2002

A series that had been created and annotated already when the collection when processed in 2013. Contains both professional and personal correspondence. Files and folders are in alphabetical order except as noted in the folder descriptions. Many files might also be cross-referenced to the Gilbert D. Harris Collection. A few folders were added to this series in 2013.

  Series 2: Professional and Scientific

Paleontological research, with writings and presentations by Katherine Palmer.

  Series 3: Personal, Family, and Genealogy

Files related to Palmer's personal life and immediate family as well as her researches into her family history.
Holds contents from Box 14/30, items found in Katherine Palmer's office, plus additional items.

  Series 4: Historical Objects

The archives is in possession of several objects related to Palmer such as her typewriter. These items are administratively part of the Palmer Collection and are mostly stored with it. Some are stored separately, however, in Various places around PRI.
